This event emerged as a standout among the more than 4,500 TEDx events organized worldwide in 2025 that galvanized communities around tangible solutions.

The spark of civic revival was bright at TEDNext2025. Democratic Governor Matt Meyer of Delaware and Republican Governor J. Kevin Stitt of Oklahoma shared onstage dialogue about rebuilding bipartisan trust in democracy, while 10 civic changemakers from across the ideological spectrum — community organizers, data scientists, peacebuilders, public servants — received philanthropic sponsorship to build connections and sharpen their storytelling skills.
